It's a hard blog

Here we are 20th november 2011 ... well a drawing a day is going to be hard blog ! So how about I post drawings every few days? I will post all 365 drawings into a Dropbox file and then post the link here? Sounds like a plan

hi, well here i am back in Uganda after a short visit to the UK, here is the first drawing done in Uganda

a cafe table in Kisimente, very good coffee . whats its name? can't remember!! Anyhoo, drawing with light is a new chalenge but first impressions are....keep it simple, limited brushes, no tricks just plain drawing, ,i'm new to using layers too so haven't really tried that yet, lets see how things progress.....from time to time i will include a photo or two and i will be letting local artists have a go too

I am a Furniture Maker and Designer
This is the start of a  year long blog,  using an i pad to document a year with a drawing a day.
I live in a rural community in Western Uganda at a place called Ndali.
Its very beautiful as you will see.
At this point i have no idea what the content will be but i am looking forward to learning to use the ipad and sharing the daily drawing with you along with the photos and video footage.
At Ndali we have a business processing Vanilla from Fairtrade and Organic certified farmers from all over our region which we supply to Supermarkets in the UK and to Ben and Gerry's Ice cream in the US. we also have a mixed farm growing cocoa and banana,we have 26 Cows, two dogs, eight chickens, and two cats.
I will start the drawing project from the first of November 2011
